Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented RN Assisted Living Nurse Manager to lead our nursing team. In this vital role, you will oversee resident care, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and manage daily operations within our assisted living community. Your leadership will directly impact the quality of life for our residents and the efficiency of our care services. Duties Supervise and coordinate nursing staff to deliver exceptional patient care aligned with state healthcare regulations and facility policies. Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for residents, including dementia care and memory care programs. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, and physical examinations to ensure optimal health outcomes. Oversee medication administration while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA and medical documentation standards. Manage clinical operations using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) system; ensure accurate medical records and documentation. Facilitate intake, case management, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams including behavioral health specialists and physical therapists. Ensure compliance with assisted living regulations, infection control protocols, and nursing policy standards while supervising team members' performance. Requirements Valid RN license with current state licensure required. Extensive experience in assisted living settings, long-term care facilities, or nursing homes; critical care or ICU experience is highly preferred. Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems Demonstrated leadership skills with prior nurse management or supervisory experience managing multidisciplinary teams. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, pharmacology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques including venipuncture, catheterization, sterile processing, and specimen collection. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia; familiarity with behavioral health strategies is a plus. Ability to perform physical examinations, vital signs assessment, tube feeding management, and airway management confidently. Knowledge of state healthcare regulations related to assisted living facilities; commitment to nursing policy compliance and patient safety standards. Excellent communication skills for managerial coordination and family engagement; ability to handle complex cases with professionalism and compassion.
