Every day you will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, ensure high-quality care delivery, act as a crucial link between physicians and the patient care team, authorize work procedures, assign duties, manage as shift charge, and actively take patient assignments based on unit needs and acuity, all while promoting patient well-being and adhering to professional standards. To be successful in this role, you will be a Registered Nurse with exceptional clinical skills, strong leadership potential, superior communication and collaboration abilities, and an unwavering commitment to ethical practice, quality patient care, and a supportive team environment. Assesses patient's physical, psychosocial, cultural and spiritual needs through observation, interview, review of medical records & clinical data. Evaluates patient's response and intervenes to ensure optimal patient outcome. Develop and implement patient plan of care and observe outcomes in accordance with nursing standards and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Provides leadership, support, and coordination of unit's daily operations during designated shift. Assists in directing, organizing, and prioritizing all shift activities ensuring patient care and staff needs are met. Ensures appropriateness of admissions/cases to the unit/department and that appropriate staff skill mix exists to provide safe patient care. Liaison to the multidisciplinary patient care team.

Day:

This role will be in the Surgery Center within St Anthony Hospital and will oversee and assist with flow from preop/ PACU/ OR/ Endoscopy to ensure needs are met. Ensure assignments for staff meet the daily need. Schedule the next day's assignments. Communicate case changes to staff, support, and coach staff to build confidence and growth. Hold staff accountable to policy and high standard of practice. Collaborate with the lead Anesthesiologist on daily case flow and efficiency. Assist in the development and implementation of educational programs/ practices for department associates. Act as leadership within the department to support staff, Manager and Director. Will also be used on occasion to help out in the rest of peri Op Assist with Room Turnovers OR Suites-17 PACU Bays

• 12 Bays 36 Prep Op Beds Phase I & II recovered in same areas

Schedule:

40hr/wk-Days

• Variable shifts/days of the week per unit volume/need. TBD with Unit manager during interviews. No call required
• May need to cover for staff on occasion if needed.

30Min Callback radius required if taking call. Job Requirements Required Associates Degree in Nursing or by endorsement One (1) year of clinical RN experience. RN license to practice in state of employment as applicable.
