Accel at Longmont is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) Manager to join our nursing leadership team. This position is ideal for an RN who enjoys leading staff, improving resident care, and creating a positive and accountable clinical environment. The RN Manager works closely with the Director of Nursing, nursing leadership, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure residents receive high-quality, safe, and compassionate care. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership, direction, and support to nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs. Oversee day-to-day clinical operations and ensure resident care is provided according to physician orders, facility policies, and applicable regulations. Monitor changes in resident condition and ensure appropriate assessments, interventions, documentation, and physician/family notifications are completed. Assist with admissions, readmissions, transfers, and discharges. Review clinical documentation for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance. Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary team meetings. Assist with investigating incidents, accidents, falls, medication concerns, and changes in resident condition. Monitor and follow up on physician orders, labs, treatments, wounds, medications, and other clinical needs. Provide coaching, education, and clinical support to nursing team members. Assist with employee orientation, competencies, performance improvement, and staff development. Promote strong communication between nursing staff, residents, families, providers, and other departments. Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives. Assist in maintaining survey readiness and compliance with federal, state, and facility requirements. Help identify areas of clinical risk and implement corrective actions when needed. Support infection prevention, resident safety, and quality-of-care initiatives. Participate in the nursing leadership on-call rotation as assigned. Perform additional nursing leadership duties as needed. Qualifications Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Colorado. Nursing leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or geriatric nursing experience strongly preferred. Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills. Excellent communication, organization, and leadership abilities. Ability to coach and develop nursing staff while maintaining accountability and professional standards. Knowledge of state and federal long-term care regulations preferred. Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Current CPR/BLS certification as required.
