2996666426-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Hartford Healthcare seeks a Clinical Nurse Manager to lead a dynamic inpatient care team in our Connecticut network. In this role, you will oversee daily nursing operations, staffing, and patient flow while ensuring safe, evidence-based, high-quality care. You will mentor and evaluate nursing staff, support professional development, and champion quality and regulatory standards. Collaborating closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, you'll drive performance improvement and foster a culture of compassion, inclusion, and excellence supported by advanced technology and robust resources. Responsibilities Lead and supervise clinical nursing staff to ensure safe, high-quality patient care Oversee daily operations, staffing, and workflow on the unit Implement and monitor clinical protocols, quality metrics, and regulatory compliance Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams on patient care plans Coach, mentor, and evaluate nurses; support ongoing staff education Manage scheduling, resource allocation, and budget awareness for the unit Support change initiatives, performance improvement, and evidence-based practice Foster a culture of compassion, teamwork, and patient-centered care Required Skills Clinical nursing practice Nurse leadership and supervision Acute care/medical-surgical experience Care coordination and patient flow management Quality improvement and patient safety Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems Staff scheduling and workforce management Regulatory and compliance knowledge (Joint Commission, CMS) Performance management and coaching Interdisciplinary team collaboration
