River Glen Health Care Center is a 120 bed skilled nursing facility. We are proud of our 5 star over all rating and quality care. We have a very active subacute short term rehabilitation program and exceptional long-term care. We are looking for compassionate healthcare professionals to join our team. Positions available:
Full-time 1st shift; part-time 2nd and 3rd shifts. Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor to lead and coordinate nursing care within our healthcare facility. In this vital role, you will oversee clinical operations, supervise nursing staff, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and promote high standards of patient care. Your leadership will help foster a collaborative environment that prioritizes patient safety, quality outcomes, and staff development. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced, patient-centered setting. Duties Supervise and manage nursing staff, including scheduling, performance evaluations, and ongoing training to ensure optimal team functioning Oversee patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, and comprehensive physical examinations to deliver accurate and timely care Coordinate interdisciplinary care plans, discharge planning, and case management activities to support patient recovery and well-being Ensure compliance with HIPAA, state healthcare regulations, and nursing policy standards across all clinical activities Administer medications, injections, IV infusions, catheter care, and manage airway as needed for diverse patient populations Maintain accurate medical documentation using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as PCC. Requirements Valid registered nurse (RN) license in good standing with current state certification Proven supervisory experience within healthcare settings such as hospitals, long-term care facilities, or assisted living communities Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems like PCC Ability to perform complex patient assessments including vital signs, physical examinations, specimen collection/processing and pain management procedures Excellent managerial communication skills to lead teams effectively while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other regulations Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in geriatrics/dementia/memory care settings is highly desirable Certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS), and familiarity with long-term care regulations are preferred Join our team as a Registered Nurse Supervisor where your leadership drives excellence in patient care.
