This position is ideal for an experienced Registered Nurse looking for a consistent weekend schedule while earning competitive Baylor compensation and enjoying a leadership role in a skilled nursing environment. Our Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is committed to delivering exceptional resident-centered care while fostering a supportive and collaborative workplace. Schedule Every Saturday & Sunday- With every 8th weekend off. 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Baylor Weekend Program The RN Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the nursing department during assigned shifts to ensure high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and efficient clinical operations. The RN Supervisor serves as a clinical resource, mentor, and leader for nursing staff while promoting a positive, team-oriented culture. Responsibilities Supervise and support licensed nurses and nursing assistants during the overnight shift. Ensure quality resident care in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and state and federal regulations. Complete resident assessments and respond to changes in condition. Provide clinical guidance, coaching, and support to nursing staff. Manage emergency situations and communicate effectively with physicians, residents, and families. Ensure accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record. Monitor infection prevention practices, medication administration, and resident safety. Conduct shift rounds to ensure compliance with clinical standards. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to promote positive resident outcomes. Assist with staffing, assignments, and workflow management during the shift. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and regulatory readiness. Qualifications Current Connecticut Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. Minimum of one (1) year of RN experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or Long-Term Care setting preferred. Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
