The facility is a short-term, acute care hospital providing comprehensive behavioral healthcare for children, adolescents, adults, and senior adults. PIW offers inpatient, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs, including specialized treatment for chemical dependency.
Responsibilities Include:
Directs activities necessary for efficient functioning of all systems and personnel on the unit. Supervises Nurses (RNs, LPNs) and provides direct care to patients. Manages the provision of nursing care and coordinates patient requirements with the Nurse Manager.
Shift:
DAY 3x12s, with rotating weekends
Requirements:
RN Licensure in Washington, DC. Bachelor of Science in Nursing. At least 2 years of nursing experience within an acute care hospital setting. 1 year of Leadership experience. Demonstrated knowledge of effective management and supervisory practices. Ability to plan, direct, and monitor others' activities with demonstrated leadership abilities that contribute to a positive work environment.
Preferred Qualification:
Psychiatric RN experience.
