Full-Time |Monday-Friday |8:00 AM - 4:30

Rehabilitation Center of Winter Park is seeking an experienced and compassionate LPN or RN Unit Manager to provide clinical leadership and oversee the daily operations of a nursing unit. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated nurse leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional resident care, supporting clinical excellence, and mentoring a dedicated nursing team. Key Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of an assigned nursing unit to ensure the highest quality resident care. Supervise, mentor, and support Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Registered Nurses (RNs), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). Coordinate staffing assignments and schedules to ensure appropriate unit coverage. Perform resident assessments and ensure individualized care plans are implemented and updated appropriately. Provide direct nursing care as needed while maintaining the highest clinical standards. Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate resident care. Participate in the recruitment, onboarding, orientation, and retention of nursing staff. Complete required Preceptor Training and assist with ongoing staff education and clinical development. Address resident and family concerns with professionalism, compassion, and timely follow-up. Monitor quality measures and support continuous quality improvement initiatives. Maintain survey readiness and ensure compliance with all facility policies, CMS regulations, and state guidelines. Foster a positive, respectful, and resident-centered culture throughout the nursing department. Qualifications Current, active, unrestricted LPN or RN license in the State of Florida. Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience, preferably in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care. At least one (1) year of nursing leadership or supervisory experience. Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and critical-thinking skills. Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Passion for mentoring staff and delivering outstanding resident-centered care.
