Make a Difference Every Day. Are you a dedicated nurse looking to take the next step in your leadership career? We are seeking an experienced, organized, and compassionate Nurse Unit Manager to oversee the daily clinical operations of a resident care unit in our skilled nursing and rehabilitation center. As a Nurse Unit Manager, you'll play a vital role in ensuring exceptional resident care, mentoring nursing staff, maintaining regulatory compliance, and fostering a positive, team-oriented environment where both residents and employees thrive. What You'll Do Provide daily leadership and supervision for a designated nursing unit. Ensure residents receive high-quality, person-centered nursing care. Supervise, coach, and support RNs, LPNs, and Certified Nursing Assistants. Conduct daily rounds to assess resident needs and address concerns promptly. Monitor resident conditions and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members. Review physician orders and ensure timely implementation of care plans. Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation. Participate in admissions, care plan meetings, and discharge planning. Investigate incidents and implement appropriate follow-up measures. Promote infection prevention and quality assurance initiatives. Maintain compliance with AHCA, CMS, OSHA, and all federal and state regulations. Assist with staffing, scheduling, orientation, and ongoing staff education. Support survey readiness and participate in quality improvement activities. Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and resident-centered care. Qualifications Current Florida RN or LPN license in good standing. Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, or post-acute care setting. Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred. Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, AHCA, and CMS regulations. Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
