The RN House Supervisor provides hospital-wide leadership by overseeing clinical, operational, financial, human, and material resources.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate hospital operations in the absence of senior leadership, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with standards. Supervise department supervisors, assistant nurse managers, and charge nurses; serve as a mentor and role model. Promote effective communication and teamwork among staff, physicians, patients, and families. Implement performance improvement strategies, utilizing Lean Six Sigma and evidence-based practices. Ensure safety and regulatory standards are upheld, proactively mitigating risks. Manage emergency responses, surge planning, patient throughput, and resource utilization. Maintain positive hospital image and foster a culture of service excellence. Collaborate with hospital leadership to meet organizational goals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing, Business Administration, or Health Administration. Valid RN license (single or multi-state), BLS certification, and preferred ACLS certification. Minimum of 2 years clinical experience and 2 years in nursing leadership or supervision. Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and operational management skills.
