Week 1: Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday Week 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday set schedule-alternates week to week 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM NO CALL Pay is based on years experience! We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Charge Nurse to join our healthcare team. The Charge Nurse will play a critical role in overseeing patient care, managing nursing staff, and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards. This position requires strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in various medical settings and a passion for providing high-quality patient care. Duties Supervise and coordinate nursing staff to ensure optimal patient care. Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including IV infusion and pain management. Monitor vital signs and manage acute care situations effectively. Provide education to patients and families regarding health conditions and treatment plans. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes. Participate in discharge planning and case management activities. Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards. Assist with triage in emergency situations, providing critical care as needed. Requirements Valid nursing license with relevant certifications. Experience in long term care is preferred. Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. Experience working with diverse populations, including those with developmental disabilities or Alzheimer's care. Proficiency in patient assessment techniques and basic life support (BLS).
