Wound Care & Nursing Services Manager (RN/LPN)
Salary Range:

About the Role We are seeking a compassionate and clinically skilled Wound Care & Nursing Services Manager to join our nursing leadership team. In this role, you will lead wound care initiatives, support clinical operations, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the highest standards of resident care. You'll have the opportunity to make a direct impact on resident outcomes while mentoring and supporting nursing staff in a positive, resident-centered environment. What You'll Do As a Wound Care & Nursing Services Manager, you will: Lead weekly wound rounds and comprehensive skin assessments with the Wound Care Team. Assess, monitor, and treat wounds in accordance with physician orders and evidence-based practices. Perform detailed wound assessments upon identification of new wounds and conduct ongoing weekly follow-up evaluations. Ensure accurate and timely documentation of assessments, treatments, and resident progress. Monitor and evaluate pressure injury prevention programs and interventions. Educate residents, families, and team members on wound prevention, treatment, and skin integrity best practices. Provide hands-on wound care using appropriate clinical techniques and manufacturer recommendations. Support the clinical admission process by: Receiving nurse-to-nurse reports Communicating with physicians Assisting families with questions and concerns Performing admission skin assessments Audit electronic medication administration records (eMAR) for regulatory compliance and accuracy. Collaborate with nurses, caregivers, physicians, and healthcare partners to promote exceptional resident outcomes. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Active RN or LPN/LVN nursing license. Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing setting. Strong assessment, documentation, and clinical decision-making skills. Passion for serving older adults and enhancing their quality of life. Preferred Qualifications Wound Care Certification (WCC or equivalent). Prior wound care leadership or management experience.
