About the Role High Point Residence Quincy is seeking a compassionate and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team as a Wellness Director Assistant / Night Shift Supervisor . This leadership role supports the Wellness Director by overseeing evening clinical operations, providing hands-on resident care, supervising care staff, and ensuring exceptional service and resident safety throughout the shift. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, enjoys mentoring team members, and is passionate about providing high-quality care to seniors in a supportive living environment. Key Responsibilities Support the Wellness Director with daily clinical operations and resident wellness initiatives. Supervise and support CNAs and caregiving staff during evening and overnight hours. Assist with medication administration, treatments, assessments, and resident monitoring in accordance with physician orders and community policies. Conduct routine rounds and respond promptly to changes in resident condition or emergencies. Ensure accurate documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR). Communicate resident updates, incidents, and shift reports to the Wellness Director and leadership team. Maintain compliance with resident care plans, infection prevention standards, and all state and federal regulations. Foster a positive, compassionate, and team-oriented environment for residents, families, and staff. Participate in the community's on-call rotation as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing. Current CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Ability to work independently while effectively supervising staff. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities. Preferred Qualifications Previous nursing experience in supportive living, assisted living, long-term care, skilled nursing, or senior living. Prior leadership or supervisory experience.
