ICU & PCU
at Community Howard Regional Health. The Manager of Nursing will be responsible for leading the team and supporting the following key responsibilities: Achieve department goals and objectives by developing new partnerships between team members, physicians, and the network. Align leadership practices with the values, mission, and vision of Community Health Network. Provide excellent service while supporting clinical standards and patient satisfaction goals. Build strong patient and physician relationships and support staff rounding. Ensure staffing assignments reflect appropriate personnel utilization, scope of practice, competencies, patient needs, and level of care. Use evidence-based practices to support the right patient mix, improve clinical outcomes, and increase patient satisfaction. Exceptional Skills and Qualifications Applicants for this position should be able to collaborate with others in a team setting, have excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude towards problem-solving. 5 (five) or more years of RN experience is required. 3 (three) or more years of management/leadership experience is required. 3 (three) or more years of experience in ICU or PCU is strongly preferred. 2-year / associate degree Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), or Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) is required. Certification required in relevant specialty or Nursing Administration within 3 (three) years of assuming the role. Knowledge and ability to apply Performance Improvement philosophy. Ability to manage financial resources, including departmental budgets. Demonstrated ability to communicate, negotiate, be flexible, and problem-solve. Operationalize network goals, objectives, and imperatives. Understand the change process. Demonstrate leadership competency in effectiveness standards. Why Community?
