Job Summary:

We're seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to oversee the weekend operations of our nursing department. As a Weekend Manager, you'll be responsible for directing and supervising the implementation of resident care plans, coordinating services on assigned units, and providing leadership and guidance to our nursing staff. Responsibilities:

Assist in directing and supervising the implementation of the resident care plan, ensuring the use of appropriate safety devices, positioning and toileting plans, and infection control measures Coordinate and supervise all services on assigned units to achieve a comfortable and homelike atmosphere for our residents Regularly round on nursing units to check in with licensed and unlicensed staff, check on residents who are acutely ill or actively dying, and greet new admissions Ensure staff treats residents with dignity and respect and adhere to facility policies and procedures Create a team-oriented atmosphere that enhances resident care and quality of life by providing support and direction for nurses, assisting with assessment and care planning, and providing education Monitor and report incidents, accidents, and resident/staff complaints, and assure complete and accurate documentation Facilitate communication between licensed nurses and providers, responsible parties, or outside vendors to ensure resident care needs are met Respond to facility emergencies, consult with Unit Managers, and exercise hiring and terminating authority as needed

Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited nursing program and licensed RN/LPN Minimum one-year experience in long-term care - supervisory experience preferred
