This role promotes a positive living environment while maintaining compliance with all applicable federal, state, and facility regulations. Schedule & Compensation Full-time position Three 12-hour shifts plus one 6-hour shift each week (Wednesday) Every other weekend rotation required Starting pay: $29.00-$34.00 per hour Evening, night, and weekend shift differentials available Essential Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to residents according to individualized care plans Supervise, support, and mentor nursing assistants during assigned shifts Coordinate resident admissions, transfers, and discharges Review, update, and implement care plans and discharge plans Ensure accurate and timely documentation, charting, and incident reporting Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes to the appropriate healthcare providers Maintain compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and federal guidelines Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) activities Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to promote optimal resident outcomes Foster a respectful, compassionate, and resident-centered environment Qualifications Active, unrestricted Kansas Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license Long-term care experience preferred, but not required Strong leadership, communication, and critical-thinking skills Ability to effectively supervise and support nursing assistants Knowledge of state and federal long-term care regulations preferred Benefits That Support You Medical, dental, and vision insurance Pension plan for long-term financial security Paid vacation and sick leave Evening, night, and weekend shift differentials Company-paid life insurance ($30,000) Company-paid short-term disability insurance YMCA membership discount Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
