Previous MedSurg and postpartum experience required Pay & Benefits Hourly pay rate: $60.30 Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Competitive pay packages and robust referral bonuses Licensure, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Flexible scheduling with potential for occasional charge responsibilities What You'll Do Provide direct nursing care for adult and postpartum patients on the MedSurg unit Administer medications and monitor patient status, including fetal heart rates Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and update care plans Maintain accurate patient records using CPSI/Perigen charting systems Support 1:1 postpartum patients and manage an average 1:3 patient ratio in MedSurg Occasionally take on charge nurse responsibilities as needed Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards
What You Need Required:
Kansas or multistate RN license BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications via AHA Minimum 1 year of MedSurg experience with postpartum units Ability to work 1745-0600 shift
Preferred:
Previous travel or rural hospital experience Experience with CPSI/Perigen charting Flexibility for occasional charge nurse duties About the Assignment This assignment is at a small rural Critical Access Hospital (CAH) in Quinter, Kansas, where you'll be part of a close-knit healthcare team committed to patient-centered care.
