Job Description
We're seeking a dependable and compassionate Weekend Charge Nurse to lead clinical operations and support resident care during weekend shifts at our skilled nursing facility. This role is responsible for supervising nursing staff, coordinating resident care, ensuring compliance with facility policies, and responding to clinical needs in a fast-paced long-term care environment. Responsibilities Supervise and support CNAs, LPNs, and nursing staff during assigned weekend shifts Coordinate resident admissions, discharges, and transfers Monitor resident conditions and ensure timely documentation Administer medications and treatments as needed Communicate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary teams Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations Respond to emergencies and provide clinical leadership Assist with staffing coordination and shift coverage when necessary Qualifications Current RN license in good standing Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred Prior supervisory or charge nurse experience strongly preferred Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions Current CPR certification Schedule Weekend shifts: Saturday and Sunday Part-Time 7:00 am - 7:00 pm Benefits Competitive pay Paid time off 401(k) with employer match Supportive team environment Opportunities for advancement Apply today to join a team dedicated to providing exceptional care and improving the lives of our residents.
