Perform physical examinations as needed and ensure accurate documentation of patient health records using systems such as Athenahealth. Maintain knowledge of anatomy and ICD-9 coding for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Provide training and mentorship to nursing staff, fostering professional development and enhancing team performance. Address any issues or concerns regarding patient care promptly while maintaining a positive work environment. Skills Experience in nursing home settings or hospital medicine is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of physical examinations, discharge planning, and community home care practices. Familiarity with ICU and PICU environments is beneficial for effective patient management. Proficient understanding of anatomy and ICD-9 coding systems for accurate documentation. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
