LN Unit Manager LO Willis Knighton Health - 2.7 Shreveport, LA Job Details Full-time 16 hours ago Qualifications LPN Full Job Description Live Oak Retirement Community is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide supervision and guidance to nursing staff with a focus on providing quality care and unit oversight. This leadership role assumes responsibility of their assigned unit, staff, residents, and family members. The right candidate would have the skills to effectively communicate with staff, residents, and families. The LPN Unit Manager will assist the RNs with staffing adjustments in accordance with resident needs, as well as participate in Quality Improvement activities. Live Oak prides itself on teamwork. Alongside the team of leaders, this Unit Manager will carry out best practice for the nursing process and guide and support their team of LPNs and CNAs. As a resource to the staff, this supervisor should possess the soft skills to support his/her team and lead with compassion for our senior population. The individual selected for this position must have a current LA LPN License. Those with experience in management and/or long-term care will be considered first.
