The Nurse Manager organizes and directs the work of nursing staff to assure effective nursing services are provided and quality standards are met. The Nurse Manager must proactively collaborate with the interdisciplinary treatment team to ensure comprehensive care is achieved. The Nurse Manager is responsible for training, development and managing the overall performance of assigned nursing staff. Qualifications:
Requirements Diploma or Degree in Nursing required. BSN preferred MA RN License Five (5) or more years of nursing experience, preferably in an inpatient psychiatric setting. Three (3) or more years in a nursing supervisory role. CPR Certificated required Knowledge of abnormal psychology and treatment procedures. Excellent crisis intervention skills.
