Job Description
Sunrise Senior Living seeks a compassionate Night Supervisor LPN to oversee overnight clinical care for residents in our senior living community. You will lead and support care staff, complete assessments, administer medications, respond to changes in condition, and ensure care plans are followed with dignity and respect. The Night Supervisor LPN coordinates with families, physicians, and day-shift leaders to maintain continuity of care, accurate documentation, and regulatory compliance. You will mentor team members, promote a safe, inclusive environment, and model our resident-centered, service-focused culture every shift. Responsibilities Supervise and support overnight care staff in a senior living community Provide and oversee resident care, including assessments and interventions Administer and monitor medications and treatments per physician orders Respond to emergencies and changes in resident condition, escalating as needed Ensure accurate, timely clinical documentation and regulatory compliance Collaborate with residents, families, physicians, and day leadership for continuity of care Implement and monitor care plans aligned with resident goals and dignity Lead shift handoffs and communicate key updates to incoming teams Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for residents and staff Coach and mentor team members to uphold quality and service standards Required Skills LPN clinical practice Medication administration Wound care and basic treatments Electronic health records (EHR) documentation Care planning and assessment Clinical supervision and team leadership Geriatric and dementia care Infection prevention and control Emergency response and triage Regulatory and compliance knowledge
