Role Overview The LPN Medication Nurse provides licensed nursing support in a senior living environment, ensuring resident safety through accurate medication administration, health monitoring, and thorough clinical documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and the Six Rights of Medication Administration Accurately document in MAR/TAR in real-time Monitor residents for symptoms, adverse reactions, and health changes Report any refusals or adverse reactions promptly Conduct Service & Health Updates (SHUs) and transcribe physician orders Observe and report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes Maintain medication carts, complete narcotic counts, and ensure compliance with regulations
Qualifications & Skills:
Active LPN license in good standing CPR and First Aid certification Strong assessment and documentation skills Preferred experience in senior care or medication administration
