About the Unit Corewell Health is excited to bring a new infusion therapy location to Norton Shores and the greater Muskegon community. This new 7-chair infusion clinic will help keep care local by providing a convenient location for patients to receive non-oncology infusion therapies closer to home, while expanding Corewell Health's ability to serve the needs of the communities we care for. About Outpatient Clinics Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area. Scope of work Delivers nursing care responsibly and accountably as described professionally by the American Nurses Association (ANA) and legally by the State of Michigan. Demonstrates competency through the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. The charge nurse is a role that a nurse assumes on a shift by shift basis and the nurse will not typically be in charge for their full FTE. As such, all responsibilities, requirements and essential functions of the staff nurse role within their unit/department apply to them in the charge nurse role. Requirements of the staff nurse role within their area must still be followed (refer back to parent job description for a complete listing of educational and certification requirements for the role). Qualifications Required Associate's Degree Nursing Bachelor's Degree Nursing must be obtained within 5 years for those who start in this RN role on or after January 1, 2017 Required Successful completion of a competency-based orientation program Required LIC-Registered Nurse (RN)
