The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and proven leadership skills to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care while managing the nursing staff effectively. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate nursing staff activities on the unit to ensure compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements. Provide direct patient care as needed and ensure nursing care plans are implemented effectively. Monitor and evaluate patient care to maintain high standards of quality and safety. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Manage staffing schedules, performance evaluations, and ongoing staff development. Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient records and nursing activities. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and regulatory surveys. Serve as a resource and mentor for nursing staff, promoting professional growth and development. Qualifications Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan. Proven experience as an RN Unit Manager or in a similar leadership role within a skilled nursing or long-term care facility. Strong clinical knowledge and ability to provide hands-on nursing care. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
