Qualified candidates must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing with an Associate's Degree (Bachelor's degree preferred) in nursing and hold a current/valid nursing license with the State of Michigan. Position requires a minimum of three years of progressive experience in nursing leadership/administration, experience with Performance Improvement planning preferred. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and EMRs and be well versed in interfacing with other disciplines in the health care delivery system. Experience in Psychiatry, behavioral health or geriatric population is preferred. Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, organizational skills and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to work independently, but also be able to work as a team player to build a strong infrastructure to achieve success.
