Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Registered Nurse Manager to lead and oversee nursing operations within a diverse healthcare setting. This pivotal role involves managing clinical staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and delivering exceptional patient care across multiple departments. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive nursing expertise, and a passion for fostering a collaborative and high-quality care environment. As a Registered Nurse Manager, you will play a key role in shaping patient outcomes, optimizing workflow processes, and maintaining adherence to all relevant standards and policies. Duties Lead and supervise nursing teams across various units, including critical care, medical-surgical, geriatrics, behavioral health, and long-term care facilities. Develop staffing schedules, manage personnel performance, and facilitate ongoing training to ensure team excellence. Oversee patient assessments, medical documentation, and clinical procedures such as IV insertion, catheter care, tube feeding, and ventilator management. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, state healthcare laws, and accreditation standards such as NCQA standards. Coordinate discharge planning, case management activities, and utilization review to optimize patient flow and resource utilization. Maintain accurate medical records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Cerner or Athenahealth; ensure documentation aligns with legal and regulatory requirements. Promote infection control protocols, medication administration accuracy, and adherence to nursing policy policies to ensure patient safety. Skills Extensive experience working with diverse patient populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, neonatal patients, individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia care needs.
