Hillcrest Manor is located in Hamilton , MO with a 90 skilled bed facility. We are currently accepting applications for a LPN/RN charge nurse. For more information apply here or in person at the facility. We are seeking a nurse to oversee the geriatric community we serve. The right nurse will work closely with the team of personnel, offer delegation with care, and have a positive attitude.

Duties:

• Provide leadership and supervision to nursing staff on assigned shift
• Coordinate and oversee patient care activities, ensuring quality and adherence to policies and procedures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans
• Conduct patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and administer medications as needed
• Assist with family planning and education regarding patient conditions and treatment options
• Collaborate with behavioral health professionals to address mental health needs of patients
• Coordinate discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions for patients leaving the facility
• Assist with coding and documentation to ensure accurate billing and reimbursement
• Provide health coaching and education to patients and their families
• Utilize specialized skills such as neonatal ventilator management, sonography, laboratory procedures, spinal tap, and suturing as required

Requirements:

• Valid nursing license in the state of Missouri.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of current nursing practices and standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
