Job Description
Hillcrest Manor is located in Hamilton , MO with a 90 skilled bed facility. We are currently accepting applications for a LPN/RN charge nurse. For more information apply here or in person at the facility. We are seeking a nurse to oversee the geriatric community we serve. The right nurse will work closely with the team of personnel, offer delegation with care, and have a positive attitude.
Duties:
- Provide leadership and supervision to nursing staff on assigned shift
- Coordinate and oversee patient care activities, ensuring quality and adherence to policies and procedures
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Conduct patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and administer medications as needed
- Assist with family planning and education regarding patient conditions and treatment options
- Collaborate with behavioral health professionals to address mental health needs of patients
- Coordinate discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions for patients leaving the facility
- Assist with coding and documentation to ensure accurate billing and reimbursement
- Provide health coaching and education to patients and their families
- Utilize specialized skills such as neonatal ventilator management, sonography, laboratory procedures, spinal tap, and suturing as required
Requirements:
- Valid nursing license in the state of Missouri.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of current nursing practices and standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, PRN Pay:
$36.00- $47.
