- On-going training A typical day for an RN includes:
- Implementing and coordinating the delivery of care in collaboration with physician and resource health care personnel; ensuring Resident rights are maintained at all times
- Documenting all pertinent information regarding Nursing care, care plans, observation of condition and behavior, Medicare charting, admission, discharge, and Patient teaching
- Completing monthly/quarterly assessments and documentation as assigned. Attending care plan meetings as assigned
- Providing functional direction and assistance to Charge Nurses and CNAs. Directing Resident Care to include making rounds to ensure continuity of care. Answering call lights as needed
- Setting up and administering prescribed medications and treatments including IV therapy. Operating a variety of medical equipment as necessary
- Communicating effectively with the Residents, families, visitors, members of the health care team, and other disciplines
RN Requirements:
- Graduate from Accredited Nursing School and a minimum of one to two years related experience preferred
- Valid State License/Certification
- Basic CPR/first aid training
- Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination
