Full Job Description Role Overview:
This position involves coordinating patient care on a specialized 24-bed unit focused on female-related health issues, primarily GYN Oncology. Responsibilities include managing staff, overseeing patient interventions, and ensuring quality care through a multidisciplinary team. The role requires leadership in staffing, performance evaluation, and adherence to operational goals, including budget management and staff development.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage personnel, including hiring, training, assigning work, evaluating performance, and conducting professional development. Develop and maintain staffing plans, budgets, and respond to operational needs. Provide and oversee patient care based on assessments, creating collaborative care plans aligned with medical treatments. Handle staff scheduling, payroll reconciliation, and performance reviews, ensuring productivity and compliance. Ensure safety protocols are followed in a safety-sensitive environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required:
BSN, RN license, 2-5 years of experience, with some supervisory experience preferred for advanced roles.
Preferred:
5-10 years of experience with less than 2 years of supervisory experience. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential.
