•We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Weekend RN Supervisor to lead and coordinate nursing care within a diverse healthcare setting. In this vital role, you will oversee clinical operations, supervise nursing staff, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and promote high standards of patient care. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily nursing operations, ensuring efficient workflow and optimal patient care delivery across all units. Lead, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff, fostering professional development and maintaining high team morale. Oversee patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, and medical documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations. Manage staffing schedules, assign duties, and monitor workload distribution to meet patient needs effectively. Ensure adherence to nursing policies, infection control protocols, and safety standards including sterile technique and catheter care. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on discharge planning, case management, and utilization review to optimize patient outcomes. Maintain comprehensive medical records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Cerner or Epic; ensure documentation aligns with

ICD-10/ICD-9

coding standards. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, incident investigations, and compliance audits related to long-term care regulations and hospital standards. Requirements Valid RN license with current registration; prior supervisory or management experience required. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Cerner or Athenahealth; familiarity with medical imaging, laboratory experience, and diagnostic evaluation is advantageous. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, medical terminology, and medical documentation practices. Demonstrated ability to manage care teams effectively while maintaining excellent communication skills in managerial contexts. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in geriatric settings such as assisted living or memory care is preferred. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, long-term care regulations, ICD coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), CPT coding for procedures like suturing or catheterization. Competency in IV insertion, medication administration including injection techniques, tube feeding management, ventilator support, and basic life support certification. Ability to perform physical examinations, vital signs assessment, specimen collection/processing, and infection control procedures accurately.
