Oversee medication administration, IV infusion procedures, catheter care, and tube feeding protocols in accordance with hospital policies and safety standards. Manage patient flow, triage, and emergency response efforts. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, state healthcare laws, and nursing policy standards across all clinical activities. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems for accurate documentation and data management. Facilitate communication between multidisciplinary teams including physicians, therapists, case managers, and family members to optimize patient outcomes. Qualifications Valid RN license with current state registration; prior nurse management or supervisory experience preferred. Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and medical terminology relevant to acute care settings. Experience working with diverse populations including geriatrics, behavioral health patients, individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia care. Ability to manage complex cases involving utilization review, discharge planning, long-term care regulations, and case management processes. Excellent managerial communication skills; proven ability to supervise teams effectively while fostering professional growth. Knowledge of infection control practices and basic life support certification is essential.
