Supervisors assure that effective nursing services are provided, and quality standards are met. The function of the nurse supervisor is to develop and maintain an environment that supports all of the staff in the Nursing Department. Duties include but are not limited to

• Monitoring floor nurses
• Hospital returns
• IV medication administration
