Job Description
The work You'll run the day-to-day nursery operation at Highridge Landscapes, including plant purchasing, receiving, inventory control, sales support, invoicing, order fulfillment, yard readiness, plant health, and the systems behind all of it. You'll support retail, online, wholesale, and internal crew needs, and safely operate nursery equipment to move, load, unload, stage, and maintain plants and product. Equipment operation Operate forklifts, skid steers, loaders, carts, trailers, and other nursery equipment appropriate to the task and training received. Complete pre-use inspections, follow operating procedures, use required PPE, and report defects or maintenance needs promptly. Load, unload, transport, and stage plant material without preventable injury, property damage, or product loss. Keep equipment, attachments, and traffic areas clean, organized, and ready for safe use. Stop work and escalate when conditions, loads, or equipment are unsafe. What success looks like Orders are accurate, complete, and on time, including 98%+ on-time, on-spec delivery to job sites. Plant shrink stays under 4% monthly during peak season and inventory turns at a healthy pace. The yard stays clean, organized, safe, and customer-ready, and accounts receivable stay under 30 days. Equipment is operated safely, inspected consistently, and maintained well enough to avoid preventable downtime.
