Job Overview Support tree care operations at a small family owned company. Various tasks and responsibilities means every day is different! Responsibilities Assist arborists with tree removal, pruning, and trimming using proper rigging techniques and tools such as chainsaws and rigging gear Operate bucket trucks safely to access elevated areas for pruning or inspection tasks Support tree care operations by handling plant pruning, planting, and general landscape maintenance activities Conduct site clean-up after tree work or landscaping projects to ensure safety and aesthetic standards are met Follow all safety protocols diligently during outdoor work to prevent accidents and injuries Maintain equipment such as chainsaws, bucket trucks, and rigging gear in good working condition Utilize spray equipment for insecticide and fertilizer application Operate stump grinder to remove and clean up stumps post removal Requirements 18+ Clean driving record and current license (No CDL required) Prior outdoor work experience or a strong interest in horticulture, landscaping, or arboriculture Knowledge of tree care practices including pruning, trimming, and tree removal techniques Ability to operate equipment such as chainsaws, bucket trucks, and rigging gear safely Familiarity with arborist rigging techniques for safe tree work at various heights Strong commitment to safety protocol adherence during all outdoor activities Growing experience in horticulture or landscape maintenance is advantageous Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks Experience in the tree care industry preferred but not required. Good attitude, professionalism, and reliability are a must!
