Job Description

Job Summary:
Primarily responsible for evaluating and ensuring proper documentation for certain/selected injection/infusion types is obtained prior to delivery of services. Duties will include review of medical records for documentation to support medical necessity and appropriateness of healthcare services being proposed. Secondary responsibility will be to collaborate closely with clinic and revenue cycle leaders to ensure successful program performance, optimizing patient access to medications while maintaining financial sustainability. Minimum Requirements:
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. Current RN license with North Carolina State Board of Nursing. As an RN, a minimum of five years' clinical experience preferred. Ability to work independently. Good written, oral communication and analytical skills required. Ability to research, interpret, and develop recommendations. Ability to perform and complete multiple tasks within reasonable time constraints. Possess computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, or other word processing software. Deliver outstanding customer service that upholds CarolinaEast's Standards of Excellence.
