They coordinate shift assignments, manage attendance, and provide hands-on assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL). Key responsibilities include coaching caregivers on service quality and documentation standards, reviewing charting to ensure alignment with Individualized Service Plans (ISP), monitoring resident changes, and addressing concerns promptly. They support onboarding and mentor new staff, promote safety and compliance, and facilitate smooth shift transitions.
Qualifications and Skills:
High School Diploma or GED, age 18+ CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications Strong communication, delegation, and decision-making skills Experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior care environments The role combines hands-on caregiving with frontline leadership, exemplifying professionalism, accountability, and compassionate service.
