At Valley Regional Hospital, patients are the center of our coordinated care system and right now we have an opening for a Clinical Nursing Supervisor to join our team in the Emergency Department. The primary responsibility of the Clinical Nursing Supervisor is: Provides assistance, direction, consultation, and problem-solving regarding patient care issues and business continuity.
Communicates problems that may compromise patient care to the appropriate departmental leadership.
Ensure a safe, effective and efficient patient care environment
Support staff development through partnership with our clinical educator and informatics nurse through participation in education, informatics, quality and patient safety, professional development. The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred Current NH Registered Nurse Licensure
Previous relevant experience in a charge nurse or supervisory role an asset;
Relevant nursing certification an asset; highly encouraged after employment
Current BLS
Current ACLS preferred
