The Assistant Nurse Manager is responsible for ensuring quality care by managing and leading the staff in a manner consistent with the plan of care, the mission and scope of service of Carrier, program policy and procedure and the regulatory standards of accreditation policies on their respective shifts. Assumes administrative and clinical responsibility in the absence of the Vice President of Patient Care Services and other administrative personnel.
Qualifications:
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Bachelor's Degree and graduate of an accredited RN program. Minimum of 3 years psychiatric experience and 1 year in a leadership capacity. Completes mandatory educational requirements for position and maintains professional licenses and certifications. Seeks opportunities for professional self-development. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:
MSN Degree.
Licenses and Certifications Required:
NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License. Valid Driver's License from a USA state. AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification within 90 days of entering position.
Licenses and Certifications Preferred:
Psychiatric - Mental Health Nursing or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Certification. IV Therapy.
