Department/Unit Summary Join our team in a 32-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) located on the 1st floor. Staffed with RNs and CNAs. Our ICU operates with a 1:2 nurse to patient ratio. We manage a diverse range of diagnoses including respiratory failure, cardio/pulmonary disease, sepsis, and diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA). Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments, administering specialized treatments, monitoring critical conditions, and ensuring optimal patient outcomes. This position provides an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where teamwork, critical thinking, and compassionate care are paramount. We are looking at expanding our cardiac service line to offer more comprehensive care to the community. How you'll contribute You'll make an impact by utilizing your specialized plan-of-care intervention and serving as a patient-care innovator. You will shape exceptional patient journeys every day and leverage your skills and our cutting-edge technology to directly impact patient wellbeing. - Professional development and growth opportunities Qualifications and requirements Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school.
Additional requirements include:
- BLS certification is required within 30 days of hire.
- ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.
- 2 years experience required.
