Sunnyside Care Center is actively seeking an Overnight Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor!

Responsibilities:
Ensures that the highest degree of quality patient care is maintained. Ensures that a safe and effective resident care environment is maintained at all times. Assesses and documents resident's care needs, at a minimum, upon admission, hospital return, in-house transfer and occurrence of a significant change in condition. Ensures that the physician orders are carried out (medication, wound dressing, tube feeding, and oxygen monitoring, fluid restrictions). Maintain a great working relationship with the facilities medical staff. Notifies the resident's attending physician as well as the resident's legal guardian and/or designated representative with any changes of condition or other clinical events. Prioritizes tasks for nursing staff, deals with staffing issues and problems, assists with goals, planning, customer service, etc. Ensures that all accident/incidents are recorded and investigated, as needed. Makes daily unit rounds in all resident care areas to assist with maintaining the quality of nursing services rendered Develops and implements the resident's plan of care. Supervise and monitor all documentation by the licensed practical nurses and certified nurse aides as related to the residents plan of care on the unit. Attends management meetings, care plan meetings and other clinical meetings. The RN Supervisor is under the supervision of the Director of Nursing and is responsible for coordinating unit's workflow and following through on the Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) processes Responds to resident, family, visitor, and staff complaints/grievances in a timely and appropriate mannerBenefits
