Lexington Center for Recovery, the Hudson Valley's largest provider of outpatient and residential substance use disorder services, is seeking a Full-Time Nursing Supervisor Ferndale location. Job Description The Nursing Supervisor provides clinical and medical support to individuals receiving treatment for opioid use disorder. This position supervises nursing staff, ensures quality patient care, oversees medication administration and management, supports compliance with applicable regulations and agency policies, and collaborates with the medical team. Key Responsibilities Supervise, lead, and support nursing staff to ensure safe and effective patient care. Provide clinical oversight of nursing services and daily nursing operations. Coordinate nursing schedules and ensure appropriate staffing coverage. Oversee medication administration, dispensing, storage, inventory, counts, and reconciliation. Ensure nursing practices are consistent with physician orders, established protocols, agency policies, and applicable regulations. Monitor patient care and assist nursing staff with clinical concerns, changing patient needs, and medical emergencies. Review nursing documentation and ensure accurate and timely completion of medical records. Support the assessment and monitoring of patients receiving substance use disorder treatment. Oversee toxicology screenings and other nursing services as required. Provide guidance and education to nursing staff regarding patient care, medication safety, overdose prevention, and naloxone. Collaborate with physicians, counselors, and other members of the multidisciplinary treatment team. Assist with staff training, orientation, performance management, and ongoing professional development. Monitor compliance with HIPAA, confidentiality requirements, and applicable regulatory standards. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, staff meetings, supervision, and program activities. Address clinical and operational nursing concerns and communicate issues to appropriate leadership. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Current, active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license required. Minimum of 2 years of healthcare experience required. Experience in substance use disorder, opioid treatment, or behavioral health services preferred. Knowledge of medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD) preferred. Strong clinical, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation skills.
