Job Description

Sarah Neuman Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is a 301-bed skilled nursing facility located in Mamaroneck New York. Monday-Friday The RN Unit Manager is responsible for overseeing the delivery of nursing care within an assigned unit of a skilled nursing facility or long-term care center. This position ensures high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, staff supervision, care coordination, and effective communication among residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.

Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Minimum of 2-3 years of nursing experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or acute care. Strong clinical assessment and leadership skills. Knowledge of long-term care regulations and documentation requirements. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Previous supervisory or management experience in a nursing home or skilled nursing facility. Experience with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR). BSN degree preferred. Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and assist residents as necessary. Ability to respond quickly to emergencies. Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
