The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Utica is seeking an RN Supervisor to work doubles Saturday and Sundays. Work 4 shifts get paid for 5!
Position type:
Full-Time Schedule:
Saturdays and Sundays Starting pay: $46 hourly
Position Overview:
The Weekend RN Supervisor at The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Utica plays a vital role in promoting and restoring patients' health. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management and long-term planning of patient care, overseeing staff, collaborating with physicians, and providing both physical and psychological support for patients, friends, and families.
Key Responsibilities:
Build strong relationships with patients, families, and staff to understand care needs Schedule and assign nursing staff to meet patient care requirements Provide compassionate emotional support to patients and their families Answer questions and communicate effectively with patients and the healthcare team Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment Follow and enforce infection control and medication safety policies Protect patient confidentiality at all times Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care Oversee medical equipment, including maintenance and repairs Collaborate with team members to support smooth daily operations If you want, I can tailor this further to a specific role (e.g., Nurse Supervisor, RN, Director of Nursing) or make it more formal/casual depending on where you're posting it.
Requirements:
Current NYS RN Licensure Minimum two years of experience in Long-Term Care or Med/Surg Minimum one year of experience in a supervisory capacity (preferred)
