Job Overview:
Sans Souci Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Charge Nurse (RN/LPN) to oversee resident care and support nursing staff during assigned shifts. This role is critical to maintaining high clinical standards and ensuring exceptional care in a skilled nursing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise nursing staff and coordinate resident care during assigned shifts Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders Monitor residents' conditions and respond to changes in status Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation Support compliance with NYS DOH and CMS regulations Communicate effectively with physicians, residents, and families Participate in admissions, discharges, and care planning
Qualifications:
Current RN or LPN license in New York State Prior experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred Strong leadership, communication, and clinical skills Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
