The LPN Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the delivery of high-quality nursing care within the skilled nursing facility. This role provides direct supervision to nursing staff, supports clinical operations, and ensures compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.Key Responsibilities:
Supervise, mentor, and support LPNs, CNAs, and other direct care staff during assigned shifts. Coordinate daily staffing, assignments, and workflow to ensure adequate coverage and timely resident care. Provide direct nursing care, including medication administration, treatments, assessments, and documentation. Monitor resident conditions, respond to changes, and communicate effectively with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary team. Conduct audits, assist with care plan development, and ensure accurate and timely charting. Promote resident safety, infection control practices, and adherence to facility policies and regulatory standards. Participate in training, performance evaluations, and corrective actions as needed. Serve as a role model for professional conduct, teamwork, and compassionate care.Qualifications:
Current and unencumbered LPN license. Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively in fast-paced environments.Benefits
