OB Nursing Supervisor The Nursing Shift Supervisor provides leadership, guidance, and support for clinical operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care. This role serves as a resource for staff, fosters a culture of teamwork and professional growth, and upholds compliance with hospital policies, professional standards, and regulatory requirements while promoting patient safety and satisfaction. The Nursing Shift Supervisor is an onsite position. Essential Functions Provide leadership and support for clinical operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care. Coordinate staffing, patient flow, admissions, and discharges to maintain continuity of care and operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, professional practice standards, and regulatory requirements while serving as a clinical and ethical resource for staff. Communicate effectively with staff, physicians, patients, families, and hospital leadership to support decision-making, resolve concerns, and promote patient safety and satisfaction. Facilitate staff development through mentoring, coaching, and identifying education and competency. Prepare, prevent, protect and respond to support our culture of safety. Works hours per week in accordance with offer letter or per attributes of position at transfer request. May be expected to work longer hours as necessary. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements Education:

Diploma Nurse or ADN from an accredited school of nursing

License:

Registered Nurse with the State of Ohio by time of hire

Experience:

Two (2) years of clinical experience

Certification:
BLS ACLS
Preferred Education:

BSN from an accredited school of nursing

Licensure:
