A Nurse Supervisor manages a team of registered nurses at a hospital, nursing home, or other healthcare facility. Handles scheduling and hiring, ensures all codes are met, and assigns nurses to take care of patients. Also often maintains a role overseeing patients.
What You'll Be Doing (AKA Your Superpowers): Partner with the Director of Nursing to keep the unit running smoothly Lead day-to-day nursing operations while staying compliant and organized Make daily rounds, support staff, and ensure excellent resident care Help develop care plans, assessments, and quality initiatives Be a go-to problem solver for resident and family concerns Keep policies, procedures, and nursing resources current Jump in with hands-on nursing care when needed Participate in quality assurance, training, and team development In short: you'll lead, support, problem-solve, and make sure great care happens every single day — with teamwork at the center of it all.
Qualifications:
