Lead Clinical Nurse (Orthopedic Surgery) | Orthopedic Solutions | Edmond, OK | Part-Time Orthopedic Solutions•4.0 Edmond, OK Job Details Part-time $33•$40 an hour 7 hours ago Qualifications RN License Hospital experience Full Job Description Lead Clinical Nurse (Orthopedic Surgery) | Orthopedic Solutions | Part-Time Orthopedic Solutions is a private practice in Edmond, OK specializing in orthopedic surgery, sports medicine, and podiatry. We are seeking an experienced, self-directed Clinical Nurse to serve as the primary clinical support and coordinator for Dr. Kevin Hargrove, MD. This is a part-time position with a consistent, predictable schedule — no nights, no weekends, and no hospital chaos. It's an excellent fit for an experienced clinical professional looking for a lower-intensity environment without sacrificing the variety and pace of an active surgical practice.
Responsibilities include:
Rooming patients, documenting medical history, and taking vitals Assisting the physician during clinic with injections and other procedures DME fittings Returning patient calls and communicating test results Coordinating patient care, referrals, and medical clearances Surgery scheduling and preoperative preparation (H&P, patient paperwork, etc.) Preparing and cleaning exam rooms and medical instruments Contributing to a collaborative team environment with a willingness to help where needed
Schedule:
Monday and Wednesday:
8:00 AM•5:00 PM (clinic days)
Tuesday and Thursday:
8:00 AM•12:30 PM (administrative/surgical coordination) Approximately 26-28 hours per week
Qualifications:
Active RN licensure in the state of Oklahoma required Minimum one year of hospital nursing experience required Prior experience in an orthopedic or surgical setting strongly preferred Diagnostic X-ray experience in an orthopedic or musculoskeletal setting preferred Comfortable with a hybrid role that includes both hands-on clinical work and administrative coordination Strong communication and organizational skills Experience with EMR systems; Athena familiarity a plus Workers' compensation experience a plus
Compensation:
$33•40/hr; Commensurate with experience
Pay:
$33.00•$40.00 per hour
