Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate RCF Nurse Manager (Registered Nurse) to lead and oversee nursing operations within a Residential Care Facility (RCF). This vital role combines clinical expertise with strong leadership skills to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care, compliance with healthcare standards, and effective team management. As a Nurse Manager, you will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, implement care protocols, and foster a positive environment that promotes resident well-being and staff development. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive, patient-centered setting dedicated to high-quality senior and long-term care. Responsibilities Lead and supervise nursing staff, including scheduling, performance evaluations, and ongoing training to ensure optimal patient care delivery. Oversee patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, medication administration, IV infusion management, catheter care, and wound care following best practices and safety protocols. Coordinate interdisciplinary care plans for residents with complex needs such as dementia care, behavioral health issues, or chronic conditions like diabetes or cardiovascular disease. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations including
HIPAA, NCQA
standards, and state-specific licensing requirements. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner to document medical records accurately and efficiently. Conduct clinical audits, infection control procedures, and quality assurance activities to maintain high standards of care. Manage discharge planning, family communication, and collaboration with physicians for diagnostic evaluations like sonography or laboratory testing. Experience Proven experience in an RCF setting. Extensive background in long-term care settings including nursing homes or assisted living facilities. Demonstrated supervisory or nurse management experience leading multidisciplinary teams. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems.. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, and utilization review processes. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or those requiring specialized dementia or memory care is preferred. Familiarity with acute pain management techniques, catheterization procedures, and sterile processing practices. This role requires a dedicated professional with excellent communication skills, a passion for eldercare and behavioral health support, and the ability to adapt swiftly within a fast-paced healthcare environment. Pay:
$57.00 - $62.00 per hour
